    Hi

Does anyone know if interest is only paid at year end on Deposit Account Plus with an post?
I have a substancial amount invested .. and am considering withdrawing all shortly with 30 days notice...I'm wondering what will happen to my interest? Will I loose it, will it be paid now for the 9 months (jan-sept) or will account be left open and interest applied at end of year??

    Cheers

    Hi,
i closed my deposit account plus a/c recently, the interest is paid annually, but is calculated on a daily basis. If you decide to close it now you will be paid the interest already earned. There is a section on the form which you have to fill in to close the a/c that asks if you would like to allow the a/c to go to the end of the month to receive the full interest for that month.

    Info here:

You can print off the form to close the a/c here (repayment)
