Getting rid of a cling-on

Last year, girl in my class clung onto myself and another classmate - following us every where, asking what we were doing, where we were going all the time. She's also a compulsive liar. You'd tell a story and she'd have a similar story only better. :rolleyes: It actually got a bit much. So much so, that I ended up not going into college a lot of the time.

What can I do? How do you tell someone they are annoying without hurting their feelings? I did ignore her after a while but that's not nice either

Any tactful way of doing it???
