Same here, chanced my arm and played dumb but they werent having any of it. Worth a try though. The guy was very pleasant and had decent english too.

Anyone else who ordered the Archos Arnova 8 from FNAC using the discount voucher have their order delayed?

The (translated)status of mine is:

Deadline: expected information provider

I've e-mailed them yesterday but no respondez vous yet. Ordered it on the 9th of Sept.(First night the vouchers came out).

Check out Paradigit in Koningsplein, they sometimes hoard some stock in the back (very little shelf space in front) that you may not know about till you ask

Also in Schiphol there're a few tech shops one in particular after the security check downstairs, near the M gates, (doesnt get a lot of traffic these days) might have one on a shelf.
Alternativly wait till Queensday in April, all of Amsterdam streets turn into a sort of carboot sale (really), bound to find someone selling on there

Ok, also called the FNAC hotline today. Well I should say my french friend did. After about 25min they finally said that my TouchPad will be shipped and I got a confirmation email later. After all this I still think something will go wrong until I hold it in my hands. We'll see

I'd say so, current voucher lists all tablets they have over 100 euro. the tonka toy looking one for 99.95 not included....

A coincedence, i was in the netherlands and was searching every electrical shop i could find, and i checked in Schiphol and couldnt find them there either

I havent been going crazy to get one, but ive been checking to see can i get some in the usa and stuff so maybe when my ma goes over end of this month she might get one, hopefully anyway.

someone yesterday or the day before posted that they never got a number but it was delivered, so don't worry.

I got a touchpad in Harvery Normans. FNAC rang me but I told them I didn't want it. I don't think they understood me though. Would anyone like to try ringing FNAC's number with my details and trying to order it again? Probably unlikely to work but it might be worth a try.
