    hi all,
after a good innings of about 18months my iomega screenplayer multimedia harddrive has died, well ive lost the remote control for it and when i plug it in to the TV through the hdmi connect it now says 'no disc'. If it is a case that i have to strat a freash with a new multimedia harddrive what do people recomend? generally i have found the iomega a little unreliable regarding sound (falling out of sync regularly) and powering off. I use the drive for watching downloaded movies and tv shows.
any advice would be wholeheartedly welcomed

WDTV Live (no disc) and WDTV Live Hub (internal HDD) are both popular and seem to have very mature firmware at this stage.

They have similar features and internal hardware, the main difference is that the Live Hub has an internal HDD and nicer looking menus. I think the playback capability is more or less identical.
