I have a job in an apartment and the landlord is insisting i use white twin/shotgun cable, the kind that Sky use because they used it on his house and it looks nice
I've told him its ****, but its the only way he'll allow the install to proceed.
I've found it online in the uk but is there anywhere in roi that stocks it.
I can get the rg6 twin no bother but he wont budge on the skinnier cable.

Try anywhere that sells TV's or elctrical supply outlets.

Is it the white skinny cable he's talking about? I have part of a roll of it and intenend to use it soon enough. Whats wrong with it?

    Try McGrath Electronics in Castlebar.

Or Armstrongs in Bluebell Ind. Est. Dublin.

Try getting the "BSkyB approved" one, Webro WF65 Twin. It seems better screened than others. Also, how much of a drop length do you intend using. As I believe over ~20m might be pushing it a bit!

TVtrade.ie used to sell it by the roll. Triax branded.

Cheers lads, Armstrongs dont stock it, i'll give McGraths a call tomorrow, totally forgot about them.
Tv Trade only do the rg6 in twin, this landlord is a fussy sod and wants the skinny cable to be used.
The run is less than 20m, so should be ok.
Failing that i might convince him to go with a stacker/destacker and one run of cable, but he's also a tight arse and i cant see him parting with the cash.

As Kbell rightly says unless its a short run dont use it, have taken out countless runs of this cable as its more trouble than its worth.
