How to charge my phone faster thru USB port?

Is it up to a USB cable or what but it takes hours before the phone is fully charged?
is there some "better" cable available could buy?

A standard PC USB port is only ~500ma, you need to at least double that to boost charging speed.

what a cheap shop with free shipping! now when thinking what a rip off local dealers sell similar looking universal stuff 10x the price of DX :eek:

Get one of these too, it'll allow you use a mouse, flash drive, camera, external (powered) HD etc. with your SGS2.

Just scroll through your file manager and 'USB storage' shows up. I have tested it with an 8gig flash drive, old Dell mouse and my Pentax camera, which BTW is great for previewing, uploading and sending pics directly.

Was looking for something like this so I could upload images from the camera to flickr and G+ on the go.

It may not work with all cameras, but I have also tested with an external card reader, either way it allows you to scroll through 12mp images with no lag.

As a flash drive adapter for a Galaxy S2? No, that's just a standard USB cable coupler. You need a USB OTG (on-the-go) cable/adapter.

Yes. Look for a 1 or even 2ma USB adapter.

Rechargable batteries are BEST charged slowly anyway, it helps prolong the life of the battery. Not the best way of doing things when you need your phone in a hurry, but better for your battery life.

Not sure, SGS2 is the only Android phone I've seen that has OTG USB.

not sure what I'm looking for but does dealextreme have a long cable so that you can connect to the lighter USB and feed the cable behind the car trim up to where one has the windscreen mount for the phone?
