I think Berlusconi is a Legend, wish he was running this country and throwing a few bunga bunga partys.
He could be in Trouble for this remark though, doubt he gives a fiddlers anyway, legend!!! :D

"The gaffe-prone tycoon has been overheard referring to the German leader as an "un****able lard-arse", according to wiretaps reported by Italian newspapers. The offensive remark is the latest in a string of embarrassing revelations involving the 74-year-old Prime Minister, who three years ago caused a diplomatic incident by describing US President Barack Obama as "suntanned".

Yeah Legend. His country's economy is in the doldrums just like our own due to him. He's a kind of Italian Berty.

That's actually a good idea. You could perhaps do one with a smiling Berlusconi and the words BUNGA BUNGA TIME!

Whenever someone refers to Berlusconi as a "legend" it makes me think "Virgin/geek - over-compensating"...

It begs the question, has the man actually looked in a mirror?

I was thinking the same thing - it takes one to know one and he's no oil painting.
    He's a walking dinosaur.

Makes men in politics look like neanderthals, he's hardly some-one to look up to is he?

In fairness, he did promote a lot of women to frontline political positions.

Admittedly most of them were porn stars.

Well this thread was never really going to go down well with the Wimmin of Boards. Thanks for the input girls, still think he's a legend. I love the cars, the women, houses, the partys, the man is 100% male and proud.

Come on Models in Nuns dresses at bunga bunga partys in catholic Italy, the man rocks hard. Legend!

Women don't like him. A legend is not being a dick to people.

I love it when the most adolescent, immature nonsense is held up as being the height of maleness.

Alright, stop and think of it this way: a woman calling you an "un****able lard-arse".

    Honestly what would you think?

Really? Its a bit immature to call him a legend, something I'm guilty of myself but why virgin/geek or over compensating? If I brought him up in conversation with the lads down the pub it'd get a few laughs and lads would spout a few quotes. Typical laddish behavior.
Italy is a corrupt country with deals being cut to get anything done, hardly surprising the likes of him get into power. He shouldn't be using a country like some sort of play thing.

Still call him a legend though. Soz.

First they came for the socialists...

It just makes me think 'over compensating'. I like geeks.

Berlusconi reminds me of Jay from The Inbetweeners. And his admirers remind me of Neil. :pac:

Sorry, being at such pains to express your (not you specifcally, the general "your") admiration for him still reeks of a kind of insecurity, as if you're trying to prove "Hey, I'm the MAN!" He's actually a sad old sleaze-bag. It's not the women thing - nobody puts a gun to their heads (although there were news reports indicating there is a level of coercion - as in, "Forget about a job in TV if you don't get your kit off at this party").
And yeah, of course he's 100% male. He's a man.

I actually find blokey enough fellas very attractive quite often - love Clint Eastwood and Sean Penn - but Berlusconi's just an embarrassing auld creep.

Not sure I even believe guys who say they think he's a legend. It's the thing to say though if you frequent frat boy circles - makes you fit in.
