PS3 slow

I've downloaded the demo of the new assassins creed game and it seemed very slow to download. I can deal with that though. But when I go to play it, it has to install aswell :rolleyes:
After 10mins its only at 29%.
Is this the same for everyone else. It seems sooo ridiculously slow.

hmmm, now it's flying along just as I post that. I was also downloading the pro evo demo in the background. its now at 70 %

Yea the playstation tends to have a slow download/install speed and then suddenly jumps to 100% for some reason.

I find that keeping a low friends list count helped me when my ps3 slowed down significantly when signing into PSN.

I hate when it goes from 0-100% at the same speed 'cos ya kind of expect it to pick up speed but it doesn't always. I installed Resistance 3 over the weekend and it crawled along the whole way. I WANT TO SHOOT SOME FKN ALIENS PS
Not the most patient me.

if your connection is wired their may be a fault along the connection. If it is wireless a common problem (which i have had myself) is that the router doesnt apply an ip adress to your ps3 correctly . You can solve this by going to your routers homepage as most of them have a simple program for assigning them
