rewind live tv - upc

    How exactly does this work?

    I got in tonight and a program was about half way through - i thought Id rewind it to the start but it only went about 30 seconds and started playing.

    So can you not rewind any further ? or is it just my service, bear in mind it was live , not a recording

    Any help ?

    On mine, you can rewind as far back to when you started watching that channel. If you click the left button, it goes back in 30second bursts ... so you can fire back through a few minutes with a few clicks.

    It will only rewind back to when you started watching the programme. Sky + acts in the same way. If the tv was on that stn when you started watching, it would rewind to the beginning.

    Sometimes 30 secs is the max on some channels but on some you can go back like 5 mins as that's as far as gone anyway

    You can adjust the time you jump back in the settings menu, AFAIK it's from 30secs to 5min.

    I've rewound an hour, I keep meaning to find out how far it will rewind but then couldn't be bothered.

    The OP thought they could rewind a channel they weren't watching to get back to the start of the program.
