An hour before the closing date for ST applications I had decent flights sorted through Zurich (think they were about €350) to Athens but decided to blow it out cos I didn't know anybody who was travelling and I've a hospital appointment next week anyway.

Fúcked if I'm going to Kazan either!

Can't see Modric playing in this game, might be Parker + Livermore with Huddlestone and Modric on the bench for part of the 2nd half.

Might even see Kane up front (with Pav) to keep Defoe and Ade fit for Liverpool.

I'd go with a team of reserves anyway. Play the likes of Cudicini/Gomes, Corluka, Bassong, Pav, Gio, Livermore and whoever else is available/registered.

Itv4 arent showing spurs on Thursday, only highlights of their game, they are showing the Birmingham and Stoke games. ESPN are showing spurs, but that will be blacked out in Ireland

Am looking forward to this one, mostly because we will be playing younger players and fringe players. It is a chance to see how they react and perform in a higher standard of competition. I have no idea about PAOK, so will not try to make a prediction just hoping to see good performances from the likes of Gio, Falque, Carroll, Kane and Co.

Same here. Looking foward to them getting a good run out, and if they do well, i hope Harry rewards them by keeping them together. Looks like there's been a load of changes anyway, with 10 players who started against Wolves being left at home.

It's hard to see where the goals are coming from :eek:

With the injuries we have we just can't risk anymore i suppose.

These guys came 4th in the Greek league, not world beaters, however they did put 5 past Valerenga in the last round so they can score goals.

It'll be a tough test for the youngsters, serious make-shift defence, surprised Ceballos and Coulibaly are not in the squad??

Harry is dead right though, even if we lose this game, it's all about beating Liverpool on Sunday!

I'm happy to see a young/fringe player squad. No need to have our starting XI getting injured for the weekend etc.

Great result for the young players, particularly Carroll and Kane.... Charlie was very assured at CB, I would have him in instead of Bassong in the EPL who gets worse every game I see him.
Pav was poor and Gio doesn't look fit.
Future looks bright for a few of these kids, COYS!
