Programmers Groups In Dublin?

Back in the states we had a lot of clubs or groups that would get together once every few weeks and have some speaker give a talk on some interesting aspect of the language or a framework/class library or whatever else was new. It was also a great way to meet people in the industry and network. Are there similar groups…

try google groups. Theres a Ruby Ireland group on there, I know that much

There a Python Ireland group.
There's also Tog and Nexus, which are hackerspaces in Dublin and Cork respectively.

Some of the universities also have netsocs, but they're usually only open to students (and possibly past students) of those universities.
