Heitinga will not play today if anyone has him which is unlikely

Krul should be safe enough in goals against QPR??

    Anyone think different?

    Team after Wildcard:

    WC.jpg

Made 0.1 on Suarez and A.Young, plus got Rooney, Dzeko and others in before they went up in price. Team now worth 101.7.

Decided to leave Dzeko in as I'm not mad about any of the other forward options. Hopefully a mid-pricer really emerges soon. Have 0.9 in the bank to adjust in future weeks.

The recovery from a brutal start (126 pts) begins today!

Made a last minute captaincy change from Rooney to Van Persie. Right call?

I think so, Hernandez is back, so Rooney will become provider

Lightweight. Last minute captaincy change occurs around 11:29.99, just before the dreaded "Game is currently being updated" message, that's last min!

Who should I go for C and VC

    Juan Mata
    Arteta
    Rooney
    Suarez
    Silva

    Usual options
    Adebayor
    Boswinga
    Jose Enrique
    Barton

For me it'd be Rooney and Silva.

In a last minute panic, I dropped Moses to my bench and brought in Simpson. Sick of not getting Simpson's points!

Wildcard used at the start of the gw and caught quite a number of rises. My team has many solid choices and 3 gambles that, if they don't work, can be subbed out in 2 weeks witha 4 point hit.

All week I have a feeling that Theo Walcott is going to be the big winner this week. Therefore team for the week...

    Krul
    Baines Boswinga Ward De Laet
    Walcott (c) Taarabt Silva
    Dzeko Suarez Rooney

Baines and Boswinga are almost midfielders and the former is a one man army when it comes to set pieces.

Ward and DeLaet are at home and look good for clean sheets. If they do get them, they'll be in with a shout for bonus. Ward plays midfield too!

As mentioned before, have a very strong feeling re Walcott. So much that I captained him. If he does poorly and I captained him, ces't a vie. If he did brilliantly but I hadn't followed my gut, I'd be disgusted. Taarabt is a bit of a gamble but it's a calculated one. The lad is hitting the post so often it's not funny. He is well due. He's also on direct free kicks and penalties. Silva needs no explanation.

Up front, 2 players who take penalties and are the driving force of their team, while the third is on fire. Almost did Dzeko to Adebayor but simply too many peope have Dzeko now that if he does run riot again, I'll be behind in many of my leagues!

Went for two free changes this week, wanted to save my wildcard for the coming weeks/months.

    Given (hoping he's fit)
Simpson Baines (also hoping) Kompany Bosingwa
    Petrov Silva Brunt
    Dzeko Rooney (C) Suarez (V)

    Subs: Ruddy, Formica, Moses, Ward

    Wildcard used

    teamwx.png

    Team Value: 99.0 + 2.0(B) --> 100.9

Some risky selections but I feel many of the big hitters selected will have produced at least one big performance within 3 GW's

am i the only 1 who kept torres in, prob a bad mistake.

I think so, VP home to Swansey while Rooney away to Bolton!

I went with VP anyway :)

Probably. It's time for him to come good so you'll be happy. I just got fed up with him and put in Rooney despite his v. tough run of fixtures

I've a feeling that he'll have a 'Berbatov type' FPL season.

For the money, you'd want someone more reliable. RVP would be a far better choice, and captain choice too, this GW than Torres imo

You're probably the only one who kept him, so he'll probably score a hat trick today and everyone who got rid of him will be fuming (me included, but in the long run I'm glad to be rid of him)

I made transfers last night to get rid of Sessengon and Torres but looked today and i must not have confirmed it. Still there. Hopefully it's a good omen and Torres scores one or two. Fecker will probably get sent off.

Well most don't have him now. Worst case scenario he'll score 2. Best case he'll go nuts and score a hatrick allowing you to catch up. If you have faith in him to do that.

Anyone hear if Given is fit?

Bendtner is a bargain at 6.4 if Gyan is off on loan for the season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

Gyan has gone out on loan to Al Ain

I have nearly an identical team- Except Rooney and Barton to Adebayor and Young, (and moses to Dyer)
Rooney on fire hard to ignore but with Hernandez back I think he will share a lot of his points,so taking little risk there.

Dzeko on the bench  Tevez and aguero start. Jarvis also on bench for wolves

Tis a possibility, in hindsight, maybe RVP in for Rooney would have been a better choice! :o

Brought in Dzeko and nasri and both on the bench. Sums up my FF season this year.:(
