I just filled in the address of my accommodation for the year, I'd say that's what they mean! (I had to ask my Mum, haha :o )

Thanks, kindly lads and lady. One step closer to finally becoming a student!

Oh, and while I'm at it - anybody knows anything about the Student Bus Passes?

No I was talking about a monthly ticket or something like that. Commuting is going to be terrible.

For trains I'd say check out the Irish Rail website, I think it's irishrail.ie? For buses, Dublin Bus if they extend out as far as Celbridge, or buseireann.ie for Bus Eireann buses. I'm sure they'll have informations somewhere

Thanks Terence. It involves effort on my part but thanks anyway! I hope there is a rail/bus ticket. Ah there should be anyway.

Surely there would be... Even though our transport system is so backwards!

They have monthly rail tickets. I'm still trying to find a "one for all" style ticket. It doesn't matter yet because I'll be paying full fare untill I get my student card anyway.

Like an Oyster card for Ireland? They'd want to bring in one, and it had better be affordable...

Came across this link, but bloody hell, they're expensive! And not really suitable for day after day use, though the links at the bottom may be helpful

yep basically!! Terence? ;) again.. I don't know when!!

ya the ramblers seem expensive.. but if u add up what u would put in the bus for a day (like a trip in and out) and then compare with the price..its cheaper by a bit..its just a lot unfront..and student prices are cheaper anyway!!

Fook that sh1t! Good link though. I'd say I'll probably get the monthly train ticket and just pay for bus fare. Don't know if it would be worth my while getting a rambler pack for the bus as well.

Oh what the hell... This thing won't let me register past step 4. Tried using Internet explorer - no sell.
