How long does wine last after opening?

I don't drink wine, but have starting cooking with it sometimes. I'm just wondering, how long after I open it should I cook with it again? It would be a shame if I had to chuck out most of a bottle after using it. Cheers.

It'll keep up to a week after opening as long as you keep it tightly closed between uses. If you're talking only using a bit every couple of weeks, freeze it in ice-cube trays and just pop out a bit as you need it.
