    An actress being difficult, whoever heard of such a thing.

    She probably wants talk show fees and if so going public is a good idea. And as the saying goes there's no such thing as bad press.

    The majority of successful actors and actress have done sex scenes at one stage or another and it done no harm to there careers in fact it helped some of there careers. It commonly known if you want to be an actor in todays world you will have to show some form of nudity at one stage or another.

    Also as another poster said youll prob see her in the papers at some stage in a bikini selling spray on tan, game of thrones or bikini modelling? Id say the bikini modelling would be more degrading.

    Didn't they latch on to him because he was in Flight of the Conchords though? If he didn't have a really successful show on HBO and been on a really successful world tour I doubt he'd have been noticed.

    She's assuming that people will be gawping at her tits for the rest of her career if she does it, though. It's not going to make her career, but it's also not going to dog her around for the rest of her professional life.

    It's either something people will remember in which case any press is good press, or it's not in which case who cares. At least, in my opinion. I have manboobs though so they won't be giving me the call. She can decide whatever she wants.

    I wouldn't describe her a stupid either way, it's her own choice to decide what she deems appropriate for her own career, if she's not comfortable with it then then was dead right to not do it. Fair play to her, I reckon many aspiring models would have stripped off rather than not for career progression, she should be given credit for this imo.

    If I were a woman, I'd probably swallow my pride to take the chance but it's really a crock of shit that they always have to somehow work in a superfluous nude scene for young, attractive actresses.

    I do feel sorry for her though as refusing to do it and the it being elevated to a 'stance' by that article will probably mean she won't get another chance.

    It's not superfluous in Game of Thrones. There's a bunch of sex in the books too, several major plot points revolve around it. Also episode five I saw a man's cock, which I wasn't ready for. Put me right off.

    Well, she was right to be annoyed at finding out it was a nude scene. But she totally reacted the wrong way by running to the papers. She could've just done what Seamus suggested. Listen to Seamus, aspiring creative types.
    As well as modelling I study Sports Physiotherapy so I want to be taken seriously,

    That makes no sense to me. How would studying Sports Physiotherapy help you be taken seriously as an actress? Or does she want to be taken seriously as a sports physiotherapist? Then why's she trying to be a famous actress rather than focussing on that? Baffling.

    Did you read the article? She knew about the scene but it didn't mention nudity and they said there would be none involved. Then when she arrived on set they changed their mind.

    Fair play to her. If she had given in and showed her boobs people would be here complaining that she would do anything to become famous. But of course it's impossible to please the people of After Hours.
