I haven't even posted the FRS1 form yet, but epay is only asking for €2,085.

    What's going on here?

Is it ok if I only posted the FRS1 form today?

    No.

After demonstrating such an overwhelming level of incompetence, I'm not even sure if UCD would take you at this stage.

    Ah damn :(

Still trying to sort it out. I wasn't in the country so all ive done is accepted my course....doing it nowz

I didn't post the FRS1 thing (still in booklet) and yet online they're only charging the 2085?

Do I have to send in the FRS1 form? I live close so I could drop it in to the office in person anyway if I have to. My mum called a while back and they said there shouldn't be a problem yet reading this I'm worried :(

You should still send in the FRS1 form. I think you've just to have everything in before registration and you should be fine :)

I am in the same boat as you but I actually gave them a call today. I was told that tuition fees are present on everyone`s Fee Demand thingy because the university doesn`t know who is eligible and who is not for the Free Fees Tuition Scheme. If you know you are eligible, you just have to pay the 2085 euros and the university will get the tuition fees from the government. If you know you are not eligible, well, I am afraid you have to pay the whole amount including the tuition fees. Hope this helps :)

    If you know you're elibible-
Send in the FRS1 form, and pay the 2085/2077
if you're not eligible, pay the whole lot. It's that simple.

Im trying to pay the fees today on epay and its not working... :/ What will I do??

When I logged back onto epay they say I still owe 2085 despite paying it almost a week ago. I have e-mail confirmation that it was paid but epay still asks me to pay again.

Has this happened to anyone else?

+ Do you get email confirmation that your FRS1 form has been accepted?

I have the same thing. It says I haven't paid the 2085 online but I have a confirmation saying I did.

On the other hand, I'm not eligible for any grants or anything like that, so was I supposed to send in any forms?

Yeah you need to send in the FRS1 form. That's what entitles you to get the college fees paid by the Government. Otherwise, you'll be paying an extra 5 or 6 grand on top of the €2085. Its on one of the first pages of the orientation pack

I just have to fill it out and send it to the place marked?

Is that the only thing I need to send in? I also got a fee payment form in the mail two days ago, do I have to do anything with that since I paid online?

I paid back on 31st August and it still says "Your payment of 2085 is processing"...

so much for 5 working days to process :/

Yeah try and send it asap. I ignored the fee payment form because I did it online too..but keep it to hand just in case i suppose..

I paid online before I got the fee statement form so does the email I got after paying count as a reciept? or is it the online page that appeared just after paying?
Just wondering what I should have ready.

I think it's the email. At the end it says please print and keep as receipt. That's the one I'm going to use anyway!

As far as I know, there's no set date for freshers to pay, I think it just has to be in before we start :) So within the next week I suppose :P

You'd want to pay it asap, I used epay and it only cleared after 7-8 working days for me

You could also go into a Bank of Ireland branch, if you lodge it in cash it'll go into the account straight away and it should be sorted nice and quickly that way. Cheque wouldn't take long to clear either, just a few days (max. 5 working days).

Does anybody know do we have to mail our grant confirmation froms (from County Council) to TCD or do we have to just bring it in during registration?

Everyone gets them at different times I beleve, I've got mine a week ago and I sent in all the papers the same day application forms were availible online. You'll probably get it before registration.

nope... just bring it with you

    Oh thanks.
