Where are people finding the coupons anyway? I remember years ago there could be 20p off a box of cornflakes if you cut out the coupon on the box and produce it in the supermarket.

I want coupons - where are they??? gimme coupons dammit.....

I've seen this where people buy a small basket of shopping and try to use a companys coupons to pay for it. Great if you have the correct coupons but not so great if you want to pay for your bread milk meat with a coupon for fairy dishwasher tabs that you don't have. Use coupons correctly or not at all cos when your caught out ya just look like a right gee bag!!!

Only something I read in a novel ~ though, this guy, Andrew Vachss, is known and proven to be pretty close to the bone in his books about New York and such (http://www.vachss.com/index.html).

He once mentioned how ye could buy like a tenners worth of 'Disposable Nappy' coupons from some 'Newsagents'. They'd charge ye maybe seven, or what ever.

They'd sit there, clipping them out of the days papers. Knowing that the majority of people buying the paper wouldn't even notice or care.

Dunno. Whole thing seems a bit degrading, to me. Self belittling :(
