She's only in the door and I'm in trouble. Another day in "paradise".

Anyway, I want to know was I being unreasonable.
She came in the door sh1ting on about what she heard in the hairdressers from her mate who does her hair. I was chilling in the sitting room playing some Just Cause 2 chilling after work. So she strolls in stands in front of the TV this conversation ensued:

    Her: What you think?
    Me: It's grand yeah.
    Her: You didn't even look.

I look up and pause when I see it.

Her: Well, HONESTLY what do you think?
    Me: What happened?
Her: What you mean what happened?
    Me: Your hair, what happened?
    Her: You f**kin assh0le. Cost me €70.
Me: €70. You serious. I've a razor there I could have shaved your head for free.

Well needless to say she lost it. She got one of those stupid hairstyles where they shave one side of the head and fluff the rest of it and put it over the shaved side. Bear in mind the rent is due today aswel.
Was I TOO honest or was I right to tell her the truth about what I thought.

That's a shit hairstyle dude and women need to be told.

ESPECIALLY the ones that value 'honesty' in the relationship.

I'd kill for silence right now. Much rather that than her walking around talking under her breadth and slamming sh!t.

Tell her to grow it a bit longer and brush it over her face.

    I find that works well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 530 ✭✭✭anndub

I'd almost say she didn't actually want you to be honest.

    Just throwing it out there.

If a woman comes in with her hair done always say 'your hair is nice'.

If something has changed and you can't quite put your finger on it say 'you're looking well/hawt/beautiful'

If you're completely stumped and your missus is clucking around and you can't figure out why say 'I have a surprise for you tomorrow' that will buy you time to see if a birthday or aniversary has been missed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,023 ✭✭✭Fukuyama

    Question for the OP:

Why the fcuk are you living with that ho?

She gets a stupid haircut, wastes 70 quid on rent day and asks is it ay-okay? Pfft...

She working or was that your cash wasted on a hipster hairdo?

Dump her and play your playstation to your hearts content. I'll give ya a shot of my gf every week or so to stop you from brimming over!

I'm a female and I agree with the OP.

    70eur for that 'look'-Madness.

You did nothing wrong-She on the other hand obviously likes burning money.
