Got thinking about all the people who say things like 'there's plenty of work out there people are just lazy etc. you know the type plenty of them on boards.

My brother has a very small farm not enough to make a living from, so he works at that and picks up bit of work as he goes.

At the moment he is so busy he cant keep up, now the the work is a day here and a day there, fencing, baling hay, taking a few sheep to the mart for some old person who cant manage any more. It will all dry up in the winter.

That sort of life is only suitable for someone who doesn't have family responsibly, you would never get a mortgage or be able to plan for the future or anything like that.

People have to have JOBS not just work.

Work is the amount of energy transferred by a force acting through a distance in the direction of the force.

Job is a book in the bible.

Work is spending a few hours chatting up a bird trying to get her back to yours or you going back to hers to participate in the Bedroom Olympics!

A job is what you might get off her if your work is successful, usually comes with the prefix 'hand' or 'blow' :pac:
