Taxi Portarlington to Portlaoise (return)

    Hi all

    Just wondering how much a taxi from Portarlington to Portlaoise and back would cost on a Saturday night. Will be travelling alone. Do you know if there are any problems getting a taxi back to Port late at night (say around 2am)

    The last time i took a tab to portlaoise from portarlington,it was €25 each way! pricey enough if your on your own. had no hassle gettin a cab at 2am-3am

    if it suited you could get the townlink bus from station road at 6:15 pm and get to portaloise at 6:45 pm.

    best thing to do on the way back is to book beforehand and agree a price... price around and haggle

    Remember getting a taxi home from Portlaoise about 3 years ago and it cost us 30 euro:eek:
