Not really, would say hi to 2 if i saw them, good friends with 1, and can't get away from the latest for the life of me, pure stalker :(

I only have one and yes, we are friends and more than friends, he's like my brother.
But I think it's probably because we live in different countries :pac::pac::pac:

I tried numerous times to talk to her but then she went and spoiled it all by taking out a barring order so the answer is No.

One I don't talk to on account of me trying to sleep with all her friends after the breakup. I was young and horny. She's a porker now anyway.
The other one, I was for a bit, but she got a bit weird about it and disappeared off the face for the earth, which sucks as I really enjoyed being around her as a friend. Ah well, sh1t happens :(

First boyfriend not friends at all - actively would ignore him/cross the road if i saw him out. He was a horrible boyfriend and is a horrible person in general so have no desire to have anything to do with him.

Second boyfriend ended on good terms - took a few months but we became friends again. We were friends before we went out and we didnt fall in love while we were in the relationship. No broken hearts so why not stay friends. Recently we have started to drift apart (around 4 and a half years after we broke up) but that could be largely to do with him living in a different country.

Third boyfriend not friends with him but would not ignore him if i saw him in the street or in a bar or something. Dont hold anything against him, but we were never friends, only a couple and we didnt make a great couple tbh.

It is rare the stay good friends with an ex - but it can happen

No. Tried it for a while but it just didn't work out.

I have two friends who went out for over two years. They broke up but they're still best friends now. Very jealous of people who can do that.

    no.
i let a lot of stupid **** slide when we were going out just for an easier life.
when we broke up she wanted to keep up the stupid **** so i just said screw this go'luck!

Nope - actively try to avoid her - which can be awkward as she's friends with my sister.

IMO she's a crazy nut-job and I've no idea why I went out with her for as long as I did.

Actually, I do - she was really good in bed and it took me too long to figure out that this didn't compensate for her personality flaws.

I wanted to stay friends but the usual stuff got in the way - I wanted to have time with my friends down the pub, weekends away with the lads, threesomes with her (female) friends and ALL this was a problem for her...all of which was manageable but once she started complaining about the pressure of starting secondary school this September and asking me to help cover her books and drop her off in the morning, any chance of friendship went out the window. What a waste of the 10 years of my life that we were together.

Treated me like **** in the break-up so no. Why would I want friends like that?

As the legendary Bruce Springsteen once said "nobody knows, honey, where love goes. But when it goes, it's gone, gone"
There is no point in being friends with an ex, it's a needless reminder of one of your lifes failures. Who needs that shít!

Actually, I'm very good friends with a few of my exes. To me it's not a reminder of a failure - if anything it's a marker of success; the relationship didn't work out cos it wasn't right for us but the friendship was strong enough for that ultimately not to be an issue.

Nope, the relationship was too much bloody work for the last 5 years or so, so when the relationship ended, it just seemed like a bloody chore to even be in her company.

A standard 'it's not me, it's you' conversation wouldn't have sufficed?

Friends with two of them, don't think I've spoken to any of the others since the breakups. The two were good guys when I went out with them and are still good guys, no reason to not be friends really.

Not a clue, probably. That would explain the sexy time petering off into nothing for the twilight of the relationship...

I'm in touch with my three most significant exes: not close contact but we chat from time to time through email and/or Facebook. All are in relationships and have kids now.

No animosity at all and the relationship endings were even enough: I ended it with two of them and one ended it with me.

Only one ex ended badly, the remainder we are still friends.

He was my first bf and my first love. We were together for 11years then one day we just realize that things change. We both don't know what exactly happened. Now we are both happily married. He was invited to my wedding but he didn't show up. He invited me to his wedding and I was there..no ouch feeling. We lost contact because I left the country and when I came back we met. To my surprise, he named his eldest daughter after me..whalla!

He was my bestfriend before we became lovers and now that we are both happily married we are still best of friends. I am a godmother to her son. A few times we had double dates...no awkward feelings.

So YES...it is possible to be friends with your ex...

My last ex treated me like shoite and generally just used me. Judging by what she told me about her past she did to others aswell. Only became apparent when it happened to me and I put all the conversations together. She left when I stopped pandering to her every whim.

To be honest if I seen her and her junker of a bike lying under a truck I'd stand there and laugh. Possibly the biggest c*nt I'm ever had the misfortune of dating. Love is blind so it took me 9 months to see her for what she was.
