01 fiesta zetec iffy starting

    When i turned the key today it did not start immediately as if low battery. I checked battery with multimeter and it is ok and is also charging when engine on.

    Any ideas

    Was it slowly turning over or did it turn over ok and then start after a few seconds?

    turned over a liittle slower than usual and the started immediately

    It might be a bad battery. Just because a battery has 12 volts dosen't mean its ok. It might not be able to hold its charge. Can you get the battery tested and see?

    where is the alternator innthis model. i have a tester that says clip black to - ,start and touch red to +
