They've just tweeted the standard message they've been putting out for the last day:

Unfortunately no news as of yet. As soon as we know we will inform all customers who have pre-ordered/pre-registered.

I'd say not the woman that served said I was lucky to get it as they weren't allowed sell then anymore.

I can confirm that Argos in Jervis Street are honouring the reservations this morning. I got one there and I saw two others getting one as well.
There was no hassle getting them at all and the staff were great.

I can't see expansys getting any in. They would be ordering from the same suppliers as every other site and it seems like they've all been bought up before expansys could get there hands on any.

Was in Dundrum just after 9 ( around 9.02 ) no sign of queue. Went back around ten to ten, girl said people were queuing since 7 and if I had asked when I was initakky there I would not have got one.

Did anybody with a reservation code for St Stephens Green get one? I went up with a code that was supposed to be valid from today but they said they didnt get any in, having said yesterday that they would be available today ?

Rang the phone stock checker for Waterford and was told both 16gb and 32gb were in stock , when I went in the the staff said none were there for the last few days and they cant see any around the country !!

They said "maybe nextweek"

Its clear that there will be more stock (HP said so). It also looks like Argos have been getting restocked (but its not clear if that's coming from their own inventory or not).

We just don't know what factors determine who will get stock; may be down to agreements they have with HP, or where they are on an order list or the individual relationships they have with their account managers. All speculation. All we really have to go on is the information they are putting out. I'll wait and see.

Don't bother with Ilac or Jervis, I've just been in both.

Laughed out of the Ilac and shot down by Jervis aswell.

The one in the Ilac said that Dundrum got 15 in this morning but they are long gone now.

I was under the impression that HP USA said they were getting more. HP Canada is sold out forever, so if they aren't sending some to Canada how likely is it that they will pay to ship more to Europe? Have HP in Europe actually said anything yet?

I do hope expansys pull through for those who ordered there but at this stage I'd say it's unlikely.
