    Was waiting at da door of Argos in mahon in cork and they have none. No stock anywhere around cork according to the stock checker so I'm goin to try currys and PC world at 10. Waiting at da door already

    I don't know. She said to the fella in front if he has a red he should be ok. They were waiting for the truck. I asked were they all reserved and she said no, and if I waited, id get the first, but they didn't know how long it would be. Ended up not being long.

    ooo My Dabs.ie order just updated from 'Processing' to '1 Allocated'. That has got to be a good sign right?

    Just checked my order at Dabs.ie. The quantity in my order was changed from 4 to 1. Boo! Friends disappointed. Luckily never mentioned to wife so she'll know nothing about the tablet that would have been hers for her bday. :D

    Not surprising really but it is strange that they enforce this restriction after the fact. The order itself is still in step 2 of 3, Processing.

    It seems the site oversold them, so in order to fulfil as many orders as they could they took from people who had gotten more than one.

    Your Order Status beside Qty still says 'Processing' then? What's your order number if you don't mind me asking? I'm wondering if they are just going through them 1 by 1.

    Had a reservation number in Argos Omni to pick up Thursday to Saturday. Went down this morning and was told that reservation had been cancelled. Apparently they had one in stock yesterday morning which was gone first thing and are out of them with no more expected in. They were inundated with phone queries about them yesterday and it was kicking off there this morning when I was in

    Was worth a punt but life goes on :)

    The Argos system does work.

    My original reservation from last Sunday said it 'will be available to collect from:

    Thursday August 25th to Tuesday August 30th 2011'

    Got a text at 0845 today to say my 32GB was ready for collection in Jervis St.

    Just picked up. Looks good.

    Will post link to my unboxing video late...

    No, that would be just plain cruel.

    Have a reservation valid from today for Tallaght but staff are not being very helpful on the phone
