    I gave my Argos reservation code to someone else, and it said the same thing. They went to claim it yesterday and were told they were too late??? It all sounds very bizarre.

    TBH, im not expecting to get one, but Ill go in to the shop in the morning and see what the story is in there.

    Guys for those who have Argos reservation numbers that state they are coming in the next few days, there is a good chance you all of you getting them.

    Typically with a delivery they would be on the way from England early this week so again there is a chance of them coming in. Sligo store made a big fcuk up by the looks of things by assigning too many numbers, (I've no idea how this happened as the Argos system is usually very solid in thsi aspect of reservations to equal actually stock levels.

    Everyone else who didnt get one or dont have an Argos reservation - Please a bridge and please get over it :pac:

    For people who have tweeted Argos Helpers, how long did it take to get a reply from them, I tweeted them 2hrs ago and and haven't heard anything back from them yet, can't pm them either unless they follow me.

    The Argos reservation system seems pretty screwed. I'd imagine a lot of people got an email with no reservation number and thought they had a reservation.

    Me, I've been trying since Saturday to get one by going through every shop but they were all out of stock then I come on here and people were saying they got a reservation on Sunday evening and had a Res number! Bizzare stuff really.

    at least Dabs can say - give us x amount of tabs as we have them sold.
    Might be better than trying to get too many - say 20 times more than they have orders

    Received an email from Argos thanking me for my reservation. But there is no reservation Number in the email.Just details of how to go about picking it up. Odd??

I dropped into my local Argos today and was told if I had a reservation I *should* have no problem getting one (I first apologised to the poor girl, I was sure she was sick of being asked). Odd thing is I never received a text message from their reservation system, only an email (with a res. number).
    Not the end of the world if it doesn't happen...

    Mine is for Friday-Mon, so i went to the Argos store today with my reservation printout and # to see if by chance they had it yet. I spoke to someone at the checkout who just looked at it and said 'oh we dont have these' I said well, are you getting any in? She said 'yes, if you have a reservation'

    So, i dunno, ill try on Friday...

    My friend is in Sligo tomorrow and I was thinking of asking him to pop in to argos to see if he can get me one. I havent been following this thread very well but I take it there's no point in asking now? thank you

    the reservation is greyed for me online - i dont use argos.ie so im not sure if that is normal with some products or not.

    I was told we will get the text when the touchpad is in stock on friday/saturday, thats its normal to just get an email when the stock is not yet in.

    Went into Jervis this morning, had my reservation number at hand and asked the person behind the desk what the story was, he said they didn't have any stock and were sent back to HP. After some angry back and forth without warning yer man jumps up on the counter and does a big dirty s h i t e in the till and goes into the back and is not seen again.

    I'd say there is one or two that were/are still in transit and it's those that are the real 'last' ones the stores speak off. lol at this point ebay is starting to look nice! ..oh my.. I feel dirty for even thinking that...

    did they say anything about getting stock in tomorrow? I have a reservation and have been told by the @argoshelpers that it will be honoured and therefore should be able to pick up tomorrow.

    They only answer questions from 9am - 6pm..

    Got both myself but that doesn't help me as I still cant get one now! lol.. I almost want to take Friday off and camp outside the darn store until the truck arrives!

    When I reserved it asked for email and phone number. It send reservation number to both.

    Its due in tomorrow, no text confirming its in stock yet. Will keep ye posted. Fingers crossed.

    Official Twitter from Argos.co.uk Customer Services team. Answering on Twitter Mon - Fri 9 - 6.

    So I assumed that was the case.
