INIT Status on UPC Mediabox

Hi All , Woke yesterday morn to find DVR Box in 'INIT' mode and no signal . *So powered off DVR Box and rebooted etc etc *Entered IRELAND as Country *Entered 121 Code (living in Cork) This brings up a Set-up Screen showing the below : Locality : CORK Network ID : 43216 Home Frequency : 290000 Signal strength is fine +…

Hi All ,

Woke yesterday morn to find DVR Box in 'INIT' mode and no signal .

*So powered off DVR Box and rebooted etc etc
*Entered IRELAND as Country
*Entered 121 Code (living in Cork)

This brings up a Set-up Screen showing the below :
Locality : CORK
Network ID : 43216
Home Frequency : 290000

Signal strength is fine + Signal Quality is 100%
Once it starts searching for Channels Box powers down and reboots back into the blank screen with INIT displayed on Box .

UPC guy calling out on Friday , anyone ideas ?
New box needed or is there maybe another code for Cork that might fix it ??

It does sound like a dodgy box, but it could also be the recent software update. Our two boxes have been very unstable since then and crash at least once a week.
