they took my cash and gave me a tracking code right after checking out at 8pm. Just occurred to me I could have been stitched up: i don't think i checked the url properly

Does your tracking code work in DHL?

I got some sort of code as well but it doesn't work on DHL

Meanwhile nobody knows for sure if they got one, so they'll keep ordering them on other sites just to be sure, causing more overselling, and so on.

    sounds like a plan! :D

    On the phone to http://www.expansys.ie

Sounds good enough. Paying by bank transfer. I wait till I get the confirmed email with the new pricing. If I dont like the new pricing (E.g it's 120 euro and not 99) I dont have to go through with it. Good news is if I used a creditcard I would have been charged the full 429 then credited back the discount.

This is my 2nd play if Elara doesnt pull through with €99. Also with AIB place the order before 1PM and the company gets the payment the following day. So If the pricing is confirmed tonight, I'll probably have it by Friday or monday.

Yeah but if you used credit card and the prices dont change do you still have to go through with it?

expansys didnt take any off my card and i paid visa debit... will be watching it like a hawk though and cancel the card if I have too.

Same here, but if they do take any off my card, I'll be screwed anyway, since the bank freezes those funds in the event of a cancelled transaction. That would put me out of the Touchpad game for the forseeable future.

Boards handles a lot more traffic. The servers are designed to handle high traffic.

I took a screengrab of the final order page. It says "If you place a pre-order, we will not ship the product or charge your credit card without confirming you still wish to proceed when stock arrives. There are no cancellation charges."

    please post the screenshot.

Why? He put it together so that people could see it. More power to him. This is why the thread exists.
