    From the big fella:
Here's the update. The good news is that we will be pricing the product at € 99.99 from tomorrow morning. The bad news is that there is not a lot of product available, neither in our stores nor in the central warehouse. Store stock in general is 5 to 6 units. And they're won't be more coming in.

I'll post later the stores in which stock is available. Not all stores were ranged for the Touch Pad so no point in sending you somewhere where there is no product.

I won't do a reservation list as there will be too many disapponited people. I'm also advising stores not to do a reservation list either for only a couple of units. That's just going to create a lot of unnecessaty stress for people.

So the drill is that we'll have the product for sale first thing in the morning at € 99.99 for the first people in the queue outside the relevant stores. They open at 10.00 and I'll post which stores later.

Curreys in airsiside won't price match

None in stock in HN Mullingar, not sure if they ever had them!

Anyone tried a Currys, using their price promise? They'll beat competitors by 10%.
I doubt they'll match a clearance offer. (and not just Currys, any shops with price matching generally won't match clearance)

    Selling any?
Can I suggest that we don't make any offers of buying them here, it'll only encourage people to stock up and try and profit from them.

A good few hours to stand any chance. Theres going to a be a good few dole heads going in, since they open at 10, just to sell at a profit also, no doubt.

Are you sure they open at 10 countrywide? I'd say half 9.

Or staff will just buy them.

When I was in HN getting one, I heard the checkout girl telling one of the guys to put one away for her as she wanted to buy one after her shift.

I suppose that's just one of the perks of the job
