Do you have any real fears?

    Spiders?
    Clowns?
    Heights?
    Road signs?

I don't think I have any real fears apart from maybe women! (They are really scary)

Bananas - I can't be in the same room as one, make my family keep them separate from the other fruit, can't stand the smell and would never eat one (completely irrational, I don't know why!)

And wasps - slightly more rational - I hate them, and especially in late August as they seem to be much more plentiful!

I can't even think about maggots.
I can barely type the word.
They make me break out in sweats and feel like throwing up.

Then there's things like growing old, getting cancer, getting attacked, being too ill to finish college, failure, and so on.

Eh, not liking the taste of certain food doesn't mean you have a fear of them!

No it's more than a dislike, I can't even look at the things, or look at someone else eating them- i have to leave the room. I can only pick them up if I use kitchen towel.

I don't even want to discuss them anymore :(

    Cancer

Just feels like a lottery whether you get it or not considering the amount of "healthy-living" people I've known who've succumbed to it.

    Sharks in swimming pools.
It makes my laps in the pool quite interesting, because I go swimming there 3-4 times a week.

Ironically I have gone diving off the Great Barrier Reef with sharks, and that didn't bother me in the slightest.
I think I saw some Bond movie when I was like 4 and it's freaked me out ever since.

Paper cuts. Some would say it is a phobia and not a fear but in my case it's a fear. I get freaked out thinking about them, and when I nearly get one I feel faint. I'm a pussy. Ha

spiders. I used to freeze in panic when I saw them, then start screaming. Unfortunately I have a large, love spiders nest in my back garden......

Those freaky mimey-type people who cover themselves in paint and pretend to be statues, then invariably move with the intent purpose of freaking the **** out of you right when you walk past them. Hate them hate them hate them.

I'm scared of heights because I get the near overwhelming impulse to jump. I'm scared of coincidences because that might mean that everything I think is right. I'm scared of being alone and I'm scared of people. I'm scared that one day I might be seen as a suspect in a murder or rape that I had nothing to do with and no one will believe me. I'm afraid of brain damage that will make me confused all the time and unable to know what's going on even more than I do now or that I'll become comatose but know everything that's happening around me and hear people speaking as they pull the plug because they think I'll never come out of it. I'm afraid that maybe the Devil does exist and I sold my soul to him by accident for something retarded and forgot about it or he wiped my memory and that when I die I might go to Hell. I'm afraid that every bad thing I've ever done will come back to bite me in the ass, all my lies and people that I hurt will find me. I'm afraid of dying without someone loving me or having someone I love in that same way die and then leaving me alone, and being burned because as unattractive as I am now at least I have no obvious physical scars so someone might want to be old with me, but if I do then that chance decreases even more, so I rarely leave my house or cook which also helps and aggravates my problems with people. I'm afraid of my own thoughts because some of them aren't nice and I worry that makes me a terrible person and even being aware that these thoughts make me a terrible person and not liking it doesn't help me morally. I'm afraid of sex and put it off for as long as possible in relationships because I'm terrible at it and then whoever I convinced to give me a try will laugh and I'll never see them again. I'm afraid that my Mom will find me and make everything difficult for me. I'm afraid of failing and being a failure so I stop trying and that makes my family pissy, but I'd rather have them think I'm lazy than a massive fuck up. I'm afraid that my hamster died because of me, or even worse that he actually WAS hibernating and I buried him alive.

    Also moths.

Rape, so afraid of rape! And getting hit by a man.

Other than that, I kinda really don't. Don't mind spiders or rats or heights or anything.

I'm afraid of heights, spiders and things that I'm not in control of. Examples: Being a passenger in a car, on a train, plane etc

Also, death. It genuinely terrifies and I've lost sleep over it at times.

    I'm a total wuss :o

    Bridges over water,

have no problem with heights on there own and am a fairly good swimmer.

    How ever combine the two..

When I was 5 my dad thought it would be funny to hold me over o'connell bridge by the ankle and pretend to drop me. So the fear may stem from there.
