We have booked a buffet wedding reception in the springfield hotel in Leixlip.

We are getting married in Las Vegas in 2 weeks and then having the reception 2 weeks after we return.

Anyone that has previously been to/done a buffet reception please advise what sort of menu they had and how it worked out.

Also looking for food review on the Springfield ?

    Any help appreciated

i did the same as you, got married abroad, then had a blessing and reception here months after. it was a buffet, as far as i remember, they set up the buffet on the dancefloor, top table was served, and then the other tables got brought up one by one. there was salad, rolls and beef curry, then platters of desserts on each table, most people seemed to like it, a bit defferent to a typical wedding meal!! only eaten in the springfield once at my sisters wedding about 8 years ago, as far as i remember food was good, have heard great reviews of the place over the years.

I haven't been to a wedding here but have eaten in the bar/carvery and in the restaurant and the food is certainly good. It's not cordon bleu now or anything, but it's decent and tasty and there's lots of it!

    Hope this helps!
