Laptop power button rarely works

Packard Bell EasyNote TJ65 Windows 7 The button requires 4-10 minutes of randomly pressing before it turns on. Besides getting the button fixed, is there another way to turn on the laptop? Was wondering whether you can reconfigure a button on the keyboard to power up the laptop?? Thanks in advance for any help!!

You need to get the Power Button Cover replaced
A common problem on these laptops
