In Switzerland cable companies can carry any channel on cable provided it can be received FTA on satellite.

They are also not in the EU so have different rules to us.

Unfortunately, you have to pay to watch 5* but that will only have the odd episode of BBBOTS anyway which will probably be available to view elsewhere.

It is not possible to block it. If they block it in Ireland via satellite then they are blocking it in the UK too.

I really hope your right. There are a few shows and films i cant get on channel 4 through the satellite. I hope they don't have a way to do that on channel 5.

It cannot be blocked in Ireland without blocking it in the UK also. Now why would they do that?

just found my old sky box, swapped it with the upc wires and channel 5 is working and the epg says big brother at 9pm

happy days thanks to you lads i dont gotta deal with pathetic streams!
