Direct route, airport bus will stop off in the city and bring you straight to Waterford, you'l need to change in Waterford City to get the local service to Tramore which is included in the cost or at night it continues straight out so ur not waiting in the dark. Bus Eireann and JJ Kavanagh do an equally good service with similar times

Is it not also possible and certainly more comfortable to take the railway to Waterford then a bus to Tramore?

Railway is a little more expensive, but yeah, I prefer the train. :)

Thank you. It is nice to be able to move around a bit on the train. Probably many fewer stops than the bus as well?

Probably, not sure where the bus stops but there isn't that many on the train. Pay for your ticket before boarding the train though :p I think the Waterford train tends to be one of the furthest platforms away, so might want to arrive early just in case as 99% of the time it leaves on time.
