Can't install apps on Samsung Galaxy Europa

    This device only has about 170MB storage on phone but a 1GB Micro SD card installed. I cannot install any apps from android market place. I select an App, choose install, it appears to download, then stops. Nothing after that. No error, no message.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Are u using wifi or 3g when you're using the market? Is the internet working on your phone?

    Internet connection is not the problem. Its wifi and works fine. Its only apps not installing is the problem.

    Market might just b dodgy at the moment. It happens. Have u modified the stock rom in anyway? A factory reset might sort it for u. Try downloading in a different location first.

    I'm not sure. The market works perfectly on my SGS. I've not modified the stock ROm yet.

    I HAVE rooted and network unlocked the device but I've also done that to the SGS. In every other way, the Europa works perfectly. Can surf the interwebs, can browse the market. I can even initiate a market app download. The download then just stops without warning or error.

    Are there any logs on the device?

    Issue resolved. I installed cyanomod and no longer have the problem.

    I have a feeling it has to do with installing ClockWorkMod late last week. It may have had an incompatability with, or failed install on, the stock OS.

    Everything back to normal now. Phew....
