Transferring music Micro sd card

HI I am having a problem transferring music from my desktop to my mobile Htc touch pro 2 using a micro sd card. The file transfers properly but once I try and play it a message says corrupt file cannot play. Any help or advice much appreciated.

Its Fat 32. Ye plays fine on computer. Opened windows player and transferred some of the preloaded songs onto the phone with no problem. Is it an issue of syncing.
