2nd Room Magic Eye Sky+

Hi all, apologies if this is in the wrong place, just let me know. I'm hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction. I have my Sky+ box in an office room cabinet with the intention being to have a centralised TV system i.e. change sky channel in other rooms via magic eye. I have my main sitting room set up and it is working fine, magic eye works grand, no problem. Upstairs I have tried to set it up but for some reason its not working. I have the Sky+ signal on the TV but there is no LED light on the magic eye and the sky remote doesnt work (obviously). Is there something that I need to do to get this working, I dont think its the eye as I've tried a couple of them with the same result. Many thanks in advance.

Are you using a compatable distribution amp?
The Sky box will power only one eye, you need to fit an amp for more than one eye.

Another possible issue is a circuit within the aerial faceplate which stops the power getting to the eye.

Screw off the faceplate and see if there's a
small circuit board in it; if so, you'll need to replace it with a basic coax faceplate.

I'll check the faceplate and see, although it's the same as the one in the main room and as I said this works fine.
