camping and angling spot dublin?

Hi, Looking for somewhere near dublin where me and a few friends can pitch a tent.light a fire and do a bit of night fishing etc..preferably by a lake somewhere. It would need to be near to dublin but a reasonable drive would be expected if it was a decent location. Tbhtwo of the lads have never really fished before so…

If an hour or so was a reasonable drive, somewhere like Castle lake in Baileborough Cavan is quite popular for camping/fishing.
Straight up the N3 to Virginia, 15 mins further on.
