    Hi, I finally got around to sending my Rev 1 Asus P8P67 back to scan.co.uk
    due to the motherboard recall a few months ago.
    However, scan say;
    Unfortunately we can only issue a full refund for recalled motherboards,
    you would need to place a new order once the refund has been completed.
    I had wrongly assumed they would replace the recalled one, but alas no.
    Anyway DPD are collecting the Motherboard tomorrow,
    so it looks like I have to buy one fast or be without the PC for the weekend.
    Anyone recommend a good place to get one fast, preferably with free shipping.

    Komplett.ie don't do the standard P8P67 board from what I can see.

    what's your budget? as an early adopter, I assumed you paid a bit more than they're worth now, so could get a handy upgrade. why do you want that exact board?

    It's just to replace the recalled board.
    I'm pretty happy with Asus P8P67 so a straight replacement would be ideal.

    I contacted Elara.ie, delivery would be Monday or Tuesday at the earliest.
    Collection is out of the question as I'm in Tipperary.

    Their price is good, though, €130 incl delivery;

    Apologies, I meant to mention that they don't seem to have that board in stock at the moment.
    They have the Deluxe, LE and Pro versions but not the standard P8P67 one.

    do you plan to crossfire or sli?

    if not you should be able to get q z68 board cheap enough.

    this is good:

    The deluxe is a very nice mobo though.

    No plans for SLI.
    The Deluxe is nice but hard to justify €60 extra for breakout USB 3.0 box,SPDIF & extra Gigabit LAN.

    I'll probably end up ordering the standard P8P67 from Elara.ie, they seem to be best on price that I can find.
    Either way I'll lose out doing the recall, cause I paid €109 with scan 6 months ago, which will get refunded,
    but will cost €130 to replace here.

    It's just annoying there isn't a bricks & mortar place outside Dublin that I could pick one up handy.
