Renault Megane timing belt and water pump

Hey all,

Looking to buy a 06 megane cabrio ive seen with 100,000km's in the clock.
Just wanna find out when does the timing belt and water pump need doing????

Not gonna take the dealers word!!!

Its due right now !!! Thats belt, pump and tensioners.

dealer says water pump and timing belt were done in december 09 @ 77,000km's!

any one when it'll need to be done again????

receipts etc i presume, will look for them when i view the car

Check them out carefully but if it is done there shouldn't be a need to do it again

Another 50-60k....or long after you get bored with it......:p

First timing belt change should have been done at 50K (ish) or at five years old, whichever came first so 2011

I tend to do them every 50K and if I was buying that vehicle I would want it done now
