UPC Digital+ box reset itself and deleted all recordings!

    Earlier this evening our UPC Digital+ box went off, then came back on and went onto the screen where you select Ireland etc, asked for the Activation code and so forth. Then we discovered ALL our recordings had been deleted - is there any way to get these back???

    Hi,

    The exact same happened to me last night - lost everything!

    I spoke to UPC who advised that my hard drive has been erased but didn't offer any explanation as to why this occurred.

    Did you have any joy with UPC - I'm not convinced.

    Any advise would be very much appreciated.

    This happened to our UPC box about three weeks ago. Rang UPC, the woman I spoke to was very apologetic, but said there was no way to recover the recordings. She didn't seem surprised it happened.

    I remember it happened after I pressed either the back or down-arrow button. Since the "upgrade" at the end of June, the remote behaves oddly at times.
