Was in B&Q Liffey Valley and they had the saw on offer from € 99 down to € 59.

in argos it is € 107.99

they had loads in stock, not sure if anyone has used it or what they think of it but looks like a nice piece of kit for DIY
it gets 4/5 in argos reviews.

It's a great little machine. Perfect For laminate flooring. It whizzes through it like butter. If it broke I'd buy one again in the morning. Great price too. I've been using mine on and off for the past 2 and a half years.

I didn't buy one because I used one a friend had bought and found the fact you couldn't lock the trigger a real pain. Also the depth gauge was not accurate, it says it will cut 12mm I think, but I found it would barely cut 10mm. OK for that price but I wouldn't want to use it over a long period

It's about it's worth; has always been overpriced. Bmaxi has it spot on.

Seriously, JML? You'd buy powertools you want to last a lifetime from the company who brought you the magic welcome mat, and the ped egg?

Used to work in a Warehouse that they had JML product in - the amount of returns that they used to get was unreal

as mentioned in original post, would only consider buying this for home diy, obviously if in the trade you would not even consider it. sure will give it a bash, it has a years warranty so will make sure to get all my jobs done in the next 12 months, if it breaks or even if depth gauge not accurate will bring it back..have heard that point on the trigger being a real pain.
