Right, so long story short - Scammer got hold of my GF's number, rang her then tried to get her to upgrade our UPC TV package (I only have UPC BB, not TV) cause they had a super limited special offer that was only good for the next 40 seconds.

She told the guy that she doesn't pay the bills and that it's me he needs to contact, so she gives him my number .

I get a phone call stating that I enquired about an upgrade (which I didn't) and that it was only valid till midnight. Asked for my CC details straight out so I told him I was making dinner and would call him back later. He's since phoned me 3 times and left a voicemail.

The guy phoned me from a mobile number (since when does UPC conduct business through a mobile:confused:)

Anywho, I'm not asking for scamming stories, just for a way to f*ck him over. I've obtained 2 phone numbers (not sure if I can post them). The plan is to sign both of the numbers up to as many free spam text company bullsh*t that I can.

    Any other suggestions?

    TL;DR - Have 2 numbers of a scammer, how do I f*ck him over?

EDIT to include number: xxxand xxx

Did you google the numbers to see if he has been up to anything else/has anything for sale on donedeal or the likes?

Tell him that you can't find your credit card, that you won some money at the Galway Races and is it ok to meet him with cash as you want to pay 12 months upfront.

I hope he likes his new found "x-ray powers" and laughing bananas.

Ring him and ask him for his credit card details.

Tell him you need them to upgrade his phone for free.

Out here SLAMMING and CRAMMING are the main phone frauds. Don't know if they can be worked in Ireland.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,139 ✭✭✭✭Mr. Manager

So far all these suggestions cost money :(

Don't want to spend any money creating an ad or signing up for a subscription service...

Definetly: Ring him in the night, every night for the next week or so and that'll make him stop! Scammers do like their sleep you know!

Edit: Sorry, can't delete previous post

Oh, and, just remember, he has your number too, so he can do whatever you do to him lol

Put your phone on private number, ring him throughout the night on random days, and breathe heavily into the phone. But seriously, just sign him up to a ****ton of subscription services.

    EDIT: Whoa, hivemind

Place an ad in the Buy and Sell etc. for something decent (e.g. car) but at a rock bottom price. His phone will be inundated for a week.

^^^^ TOO SLOW! Nah, only kidding, good idea with the heavy breathing tho!:p

Put an ad up on gumtree. It's free. Don't sell something 'rock bottom' but instead sell something at a seriously good price. Be sure that it's something everyone either needs or wants. A car is good but try something more like a PS3 or a laptop.

    Get him in his rectum.

We put a guys number on the buy and sell, selling ferrets for a fiver. It was shocking how many calls he got!

stick his number on the wall in a pubs toilets with the message 'call for hot cock action'

Text bomb him from a phone with free texts. I suppose you need a smartphone app. Works best if the recipient doesn't have a smartphone. 1000 messages will at worst be a pain to delete, at best keep crashing his phone.

Get a load of friends and their phones with old sim cards that do "Call me" texts. Set each phone to send the request for a call me 100 times in a multicontact text. Destroy him.
