). Anyways, I'm rambling. Slogged it back to Greystones eventually where the hot shower revealed stinging in places which had been numb for quite a while. I found it hard going but was pleasantly satisfied to hear afterwards that it has harder than usual due to the weather. I'm sure I'd have averaged 30kph instead of 22kph if it hadn't been for that wind and rain. The afterglow is good and while tired I didn't actually feel very stiff or sore compared to long runs / marathons. A small bit of back ache but nothing bad.
