Vodafone sharing dock?

    Hello.
    I'm currently having problems with my vodafone sharing dock.I have a desktop running windows 7 on the ethernet port,working fine. a laptop running windows xp on wireless fine. and an ipod touch running on wireless also fine. the only problem is when i go to connect my mam's laptop to the network,it connects to the network,btu doesn't connect to the internet,while the others do. I've taken all security measures off the dock and turn everythign else on the network off,yet no results.Anybody else had this porblem/know how to fix it?.

    p.s i've checked the vodafone website and this queastion is asked in their forums a bit,but a mod answers just saying check IPCONFIG then just disappears.

    Does your mother's laptop have a static ip? What operating system does it have?
    And what are the results from Ip config? and have you compared them to the results of an ipconfig on your own laptop?
