    Hi,

I've lived in the UK for just under 2 years and am bringing my English lady back home to 'meet the parents'. She wants to bring a hair straightener in the hand-luggage. I think that it should be okay, but just wondering if anyone else has tried bringing one before??

    Many thanks,
    Kevin

Yeah I take mine everywhere with me, and I always put it in my hand luggage. Nobody has ever said a word about it.

Thanks for the reply, and Im glad that you've been able to bring one in hand luggage. She has gone and bought a new one (along with lots of new clothes...) so just wanted to make sure!

Thanks for the replies. She uses it every single day so she'd be devastated if she couldn't bring it!
