They banned them in 1993 after 27 kids on one street in Bradford choked to death on Tony the Tiger bike reflectors in their Frosties.

Its sad that kids will no longer know the feeling to paw through the bag of cereal to find....two free toys.

Paedos were using them to get immigrant kids jobs in the UK in factories that caused a new form of cancer.
    Daily mail. True story.

i dunno but i sure do miss that feeling of pure adrenaline and ecstacy when the toy fell into the bowl. and then the feeling of crushing dissapointment when my big brother would take it off me....

I heard they banned them after FF used all the tokens to get re-elected in 2007.

    Rookie mistake.

The key was to take the cereal bag out of the box and search for it underneath

I miss those little yellow plastic submarines you filled with baking powder......spent hours trying to get them to work

(I BLAMES THE YOUTHS OF TODAY WITH THEIR POKING AND FRIENDING AND BOOKFACING, SHORT LITTLE ATTENTION SPANS AND INABILITY TO APPRECIATE BRIGHTLY COLOURED LITTLE LUMPS OF PLASTIC - the little boloxes)

Remember eating boxes of crap to get my hands on a no doubt radioactive/poisonous glow in the dark bicycle sticker before

What i meant was, pulling out the bag, finding one, fishing it out. The cereal then shifts to unveil a second prize.

Anyone send away for the Thunder birds toys after collecting the tokens? The metal ones?

Because i had too many monsters in my pocket one day and they ate through and escaped, they then devoured an old lady in 10 seconds, we eventually rounded them up but the old ladies husband complained. They were banned and never seen since, sad times.

They made a mistake...they made a mistake.....ah ha ha ha ha ah ah ah ah (laughs maniacally)

v.disappointing when there was no toy at all (stares into middle distance impassively bottling it all up)

Life Is like a box of cereal, we used to get loads of cool toys for free, now we get told we need to exercise more or we're going to die.

Eating MASSIVE bowls of cereal, just to get through the box in the hope of your Mam getting more so you can complete your collection! :D

Bad grammar aside : Them were the days.

I think I still have some of those dinosaur stickers that change when viewed from another angle. They were the so high tech, you would spend ages moving your head left and right!

    Found some, lol

I remember the summer those bike reflectors were out every bike on the street had about ten on each wheel.
Does anyone remember Frosties with a little airfix style Tony Tiger figures.
