I've travelled quite a fair amount but the only place I've ever been robbed was in Dublin.

Back in 2006 a friend of mine paid me a visit, he'd just returned from 15 month with the US Marine Corp in Baghdad without a scratch.

He was staying in a hotel by Christ Church (Dublin 8) and wanted to go for a jog.

I told him "DO NOT GO THAT WAY", pointing towards Thomas St.. Of course the dumb f*ck went jogging up towards Thomas St - and got mugged!.

15 months in Baghdad - safe.
15 months in Dublin - mugged by a junkie with a syringe.

It's so annoying and fraustrating knowing some fcuker has stolen your wallet or bag , it's the invasion of space and the feeling that you've being done over that shocks and hurts as much as anything else .When the sun is out people are more relaxed and liable to maybe let their guard down a bit but people get robbed all the time .I would like to see the stats for pickpockets ( those that are reported ) in a city like London in a year ,sure it must run into the thousends .

What did they steal from him while jogging?
