Galway Races Day 2 & Glorious Goodwood Day 1 - Selections & Chat Thread

I'll stick up a few mate, won't get to see them run though.

Didn't do too badly - staked 7pts, returned 16.62pts with a profit of 9.62pts. Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick! I always do crap the day after making a profit so it may be best to lay anything I put up. :pac:

I'll be partying hard at a function (:pac:) tomorrow night. I highly doubt that I'll be fit enough to get things up on Wednesday, but Thursday will be covered. I've little else to be at!

A day without looking at a race will do no harm anyways, the oul' brain is fried into a million pieces at this stage! I'll definitely be cheering on Canford against Frankel. Can't wait for that, should be beyond epic.

If he takes off like a train then I'll eat my own leg off if Canford can't catch him. That would be playing into CC's hands big time and I doubt it'll happen. Although every way I look at that race I fail to see how Frankel can beat Canford.

+9.62pts yesterday after a 9/1 winner in the first, followed by 20 & 25/1 places in the next couple. The other four were poor enough.

Same thing again, either 1pt win or 0.5pts e/w. No time for reasoning (thoroughly studied all the races though, God help me), although a couple of the Goodwood ones are posted in my challenge/log thread.
