Does anyone know when exactly they are released. . .they'd be really handy in case of an appeal. . .

You do get a copy of the marking scheme along with your answer book when you're rechecking your papers.

As regards when they're released online, I'm not sure if they come out before that or not.

The marking schemes will be up on www.examinations.ie in the days before Script Viewing takes place (well they have the last few years anyway).

There'll be hardcopies of the schemes in the script viewing centre.
