    €3.90?

45c less than the crap I drink in my local.

My best 3 would probably be
    1. Mulligans in Dublin
    2. A tiny pub across the road from the side of Talbot Hotel in Wexford Town. No idea of the name of it, but there was a session on some Thursday night a couple of summers ago.
    3. Jim of the Mill's

What's the name of the old bar across the road from the Dice Bar off the quays in Dublin. They have lots of dusty bric a brac hanging from the ceiling.

    The pints are nectar

one of the many reason's i dont go near dublin if i can help it. I'm not sure if alot of people in dublin are aware but there is such a thing called the "normal price" and the "dublin price", your bank balance shows the difference. Unless i really wanted a pint of guinness i usually would'nt pay more than 3.50 for it. It only cost pub owners 1.80 to serve a pint of guinness,so these high prices are just plain robbery

yeah but the problem with the dragon is if you haven't drank there for the last 500 years then you're not welcome.

The Wagon Wheel in Ballynacargy (just outside Mullingar) has the best pint of Guinness you will ever taste. At €3.80 a pint its not too bad on the pocket either.

Hurts to say this but the best pint I had was in 'The Big Tree' in Dublin.

You get great Guinness so many places now.

    3 of my personal favorites:

    O'Dwyers pub in Waterville, Kerry
Toners on Baggott St in Dublin
    McGloins in Kinlough, Leitrim

Ryans of Queen street. I love that spot, I think its the chilled pint glasses they use.
Personally I think Mulligans is over rated, Chaplins around the corner does a better pint.
Great pints in Dublin, Lower Deck, O'Connells, Devits, Ryans Camden st, Fallons and Brogans.

Agree with you about Mulligans. The Palace Bar in Fleet Street has also gone down hill in recent years. Brogans has great pints and you can usually start up a conversation with other punters in the bar.
